Karlsruhe University of Education
We teach and conduct research into educational processes within and outside schools. Our range of courses includes teacher training programmes for Years 1 to 10 (primary and lower secondary education) as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for other fields of education. Around 220 academic staff supervise approximately 3,500 students.
Our research activities are dedicated to optimising educational processes and exploring the opportunities offered by digitalisation in education. A key focus is also on transferring findings from educational research into the everyday practice of schools and civil society. Targeted support programmes for our early-career researchers make us an attractive research hub.
Our part-time continuing professional development programmes are tailored to specific needs. They are characterised by their close links to research and practice.
