Erasmus+ Blended Mobility Program in Computer Science
Since the academic year 2022/23, the Department of Computer Science Education (Informatik und ihre Didaktik) at the Karlsruhe University of Education has been funded to participate in an Erasmus+ ‘blended mobility program’ in cooperation with Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) in Chicago. Blended mobility is a combination of a physical mobility of varying duration and a virtual phase that takes place before, during (accompanying, not as an interruption) or after the physical mobility. The goal is to facilitate collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork.
This blended mobility option is currently limted exclusively to participation for computer science education students.

Study in both Germany and the USA without missing any classes
Students of Computer Science Education at the Karlsruhe University of Education can attend the semester of our courses in Germany regularly and combine it with the courses from the USA, even though they will be in the USA for a short period of time in July. Courses at NEIU will be credited in the study of computer science with us.
