Die American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) organisiert im Zeitraum vom 18. bis 21 März 2023 in Portland, Oregon (USA) eine Konferenz zum Thema "Collaborating and Mentoring in Applied Linguistics".

PHKA ist mit zwei Vorträgen in der Konferenz vertreten:

Frau Prof. Dr. Isabel Martin hält am 20. März 2023 einen Vortrag zum Thema „Bi-directional Decoloniality in Applied Linguistics: A Lao-German cooperation project“.

Frau Dr. Meryl Kusyk hält ebenfalls am 20. März 2023 einen Vortrag zum Thema „A systematic review of informal language learning research: Sketching the contours of an emerging subfield“.

Frau Prof. Dr. Isabel Martin nimmt am 17. März 2023 an dem Pre-conference Workshop "(Un)Doing Applied Linguistics through Southern Epistemologies: Affordances and Challenges" geleitet von Sinfree Makoni teil.
